As you collect various Digimon in the game, you can gain special buffs for completing decks. A deck is a group of Digimon who are linked by a common theme, and the number of species will generally range from 4-8 species. The digimon in the deck can be any level, from Rookie to Jogress. When you complete a deck by obtaining all of the Digimon included in it, you can activate a buff, the effects of which vary from one deck to another. At any point in time, you can have only one deck buff activated, so if you complete multiple decks you will need to decide which one you want to use at any point.
